The Seal And Coat APS System

The Seal And Coat APS system (Asphalt Protection System) is a strategic multifaceted approach to maintain your asphalt surfaces. The APS System utilizes dynamic principals that are custom tailored to each individual clients needs. We've collaborated basic asphalt maintenance principals into a combined system of preventative maintenance, repairs, and cosmetic enhancements. All these approaches come together to deliver a cost effective and combined series of tasks designed to maximize the life of your pavement.

Stage 1: The APS Stage 1 system is a level of protection best suited for newer pavements that don't display any advanced signs of deterioration or cracking. It consists of our ultra-premium asphalt sealcoating product applied in one coat for previously sealed pavements or two coats for asphalt pavement surfaces that have never been sealed. In certain cases, such as high-traffic exits and entrances to commercial locations, businesses and gas stations, a third coat may be applied.

Stage 2: The APS Stage 2 system combines our ultra-premium asphalt sealcoating with our crack sealing services. It is best suited for pavement surfaces that have aged and deteriorated to the point where some cracks have started to develop. We utilize either 100% acrylic cold-applied crack sealants or commercial-grade hot applied rubberized crack sealants depending on the amount of cracks and the type of location.

Stage 3: The APS Stage 3 system combines ultra-premium asphalt sealcoating with our hot-rubberized commercial grade crack sealants. It is best suited for residential properties with an average to above average amount of cracks, as well as a majority of commercial locations that display any amount of cracks. This advanced Stage 3 system eliminates the use of cold-applied crack sealants in favor of more durable, higher quality hot-applied products. A majority of pavements we service fit into the Stage 3 category.

Stage 4: The APS Stage 4 system is utilized on pavement surfaces displaying advanced stages of deterioration. We combine our ultra-premium asphalt sealcoating and hot-rubberized crack sealing with pothole and damaged pavement repair. This option is best suited to repair aged and deteriorated pavements and ring them up back to safe and usable condition. At this stage, we cut out damaged pavements and potholes and replace the deteriorated areas with fresh hot mix asphalt. We then utilize a hot rubberized crack sealant to seal any cracks followed by our ultra-premium sealcoat finish.
