Crack Patching, Crack Filling, Joint Sealing and Crack Sealing
Prior to starting any resurfacing tasks, it is vital to seal any cracks in the pavement to prevent water penetration bellow the pavement surface. By providing a tough, resistant barrier against moisture, you eliminate the risk of further damage. Seal And Coat will utilize a high volume solid 100% acrylic elastomeric crack sealants designed to seal cracks that are up to 1/2" wide. The products we use offer superior fuel resistance and remain flexible in cold temperatures as low as -10 degrees bellow Fahrenheit.
For larger cracks up to 1" wide, a 100% acrylic trowel grade crack filler can be utilized. The trowel grade crack fillers we use are fortified with sand for maximum resistance and durability.
All our crack and joint sealing and filling products are available in a neutral shade, as well as red or green to blend in with the existing color of your surface. In addition to the above mentioned products, Seal And Coat can also utilize hot rubberized crack sealing on non-professional and inexpensive residential sport surfaces.
Resurfacing and Colored Coatings
Upon taking the necessary steps to prepare your surface, Seal And Coat can then apply a wide range of colored sport surface coatings. The pavement surface is first smoothed and leveled using a premium grade 100% acrylic or asphalt based resurfacer. We also utilize products containing a rubberized synthetic polymer emulsion for use in cushioned sports systems. The resurfacing process helps hide minor imperfections and ensures a smooth, level surface for the colored coating applied as a final layer.
After the surface has been resurfaced, we utilize either a 100% acrylic coating or cushioned sport system containing fine rubber granules. Our products are highly pigmented, and contain high tensile strength geotextile fibers. Our premium grade products ensure greater toughness, flexibility and longer service life. Most of our products are available in your choice of nine standard colors. Our colored sports coatings are available with or without silica sand sand for traction and durability. After resurfacing and coating your surface, we can apply a clear drying 100% acrylic top coat to protect and extend the life of your surface coating.
Line Painting
After your project is completed, we will then paint any lines on your court or track using a 100% acrylic, premium grade highly pigmented white line paint formulated to be a fast drying. A clear drying 100% acrylic emulsion primer will be applied to the surface to fill minor voids between the masking tape and court surface to ensure a razor sharp line edge and prevent bleeding. Our line paint is long-lasting and sun bleach resistant. It is available in a smooth finish as well as a textured version containing silica sand.
